Youngsters can get busy showing off their talents at a summer school that will see them stage a show at Diss Corn Hall.

The three day summer stage school, running from July 31-August 2, will this year be themed around an exciting adventure to Neverland! Expect pirates, mermaids, lost boys and fairies as part of the ever-popular story of Peter Pan.

Children aged between six and 11 will get to enjoy being part of team acting, singing, dancing and making a piece of costume to take home and keep.

Through themed drama games, improvisation and rehearsal, the musical theatre teacher will guide youngsters towards a mini showcase in the Corn Hall auditorium for friends and family at the end of the last day when all those taking part will also receive a certificate of participation.

Previous events have proved hugely popular.

- Summer Stage School runs at Diss Corn Hall from July 31-August 2, 9am-3.30pm (9am-5pm on last day to include the showcase), £70 for three days, 01379 652241, disscornhall.co.uk
