1. Kevin Fitzsimmons - A Swingin’ Affair at The Corn Hall.

The new British hero of swing singing has played London’s Ronnie Scott’s, New York’s Birdland and countless high-society events with his appealing voice, classic repertoire and on-stage charisma. Tickets £12, Thursday, November 1 at 7.30pm.

2. True Scape at The Greyhound.

Norwich’s finest original four piece rock band. Prepare to be wowed with their Beatles-esque melodies.

Saturday, December 15, 9pm.

3. Guranfoe at The Burston Crown.

This prog rock band are currently finishing their first studio record, made over two weeks in a Cold War bunker north of Norwich. Friday, October 26, 8pm.

4. Dire Streets at The Corn Hall.

Guitar ace John Brunsdon and his band of accomplished musicians play with an attention to detail and musicianship that marks them as the stand-out Dire Straits tribute in the UK.

Saturday, November 10, £16, 7.30pm.

5. Groovapolitan at The Greyhound.

Groovapolitan are a funk, soul and disco band based in Norwich, playing great disco classics and funk masterpieces. From 9pm on Saturday, October 27.

6. Fine City Blues Festival presents the Dave Thomas Blues Band at The Corn Hall.

The Dave Thomas Blues Band once headlines above Fleetwood Mac, and continues to deliver the hard-driving Chicago-style blues. Tickets £18, Friday, October 19, 7.30pm.

7. Buskers at The Cock Inn.

For more variety try out The Cock Inn’s open mic Buskers night on the first Thursday of every month from 7pm.
