The Heritage Triangle in Diss is a base of culture, history and entertainment.

Now, a Diss pub will be hosting its first ever double-header weekend with bands playing across two nights to start the weekend right.

The Greyhound in St Nicholas Street is situated right in the heart of the Heritage Triangle and will play host to Distant Sun and True Scape.

Distant Sun will take to the stage tonight at 9pm. The four-piece band from Hopton-on-Sea formed in 2010. Their indie rock music looks set to keep revellers rocking.

On Saturday, June 2 at 9pm a second evening of music is planned with Norwich band True Scape bringing their own style of rock- with influences from The Beatles hoping to share the message of peace and love.

The Greyhound hosts bands, DJs and karaoke throughout the year but this is the first time they have run nights back to back.

Be sure to catch World Cup football at the pub which also hosts sport matches throughout the season.
