A special Christmas carol service called 'The Gift' is set to take place at Hope Church in Diss on Sunday December 16.

Mulled wine and mince pies and a wonderful Christmas celebration guaranteed to get you in the festive mood is promised at the service at the Hope Church (formally DC3) in Vinces Road at 4pm.

DC3 (Diss Christian Community Church) began in 1948, and are members of The Evangelical Alliance, a partner church with 24-7 prayer and part of the Pioneer Network.

Last October DC3 became part of the Pioneer Network of Churches and in February this year it launched as Hope Church so this Christmas is its first under a new name.

Everyone is welcome at the service in Diss. Meanwhile a second ‘The Gift’ carol service will also be held at the Archbishop Sancroft High School in Harleston, where the church began a second congregation in 2005, on Sunday, December 23, at 4pm.
