He must be very busy what with checking who has been good, overseeing his team of elves and ensuring his reindeer will be ready for the big day, but Father Christmas is still finding time to visit Diss.
The Rotary Club of Diss Waveney will be bringing Santa and his sleigh into the town on three days in the run up to Christmas.
There will be the chance to say ho ho ho on Wednesday, December 19 when Santa and his helpers will be collecting for local good causes in the Market Place between 11am and 2pm. Children and “grown up” children will be able to have their photos taken on the sleigh.
Last year Diss Waveney Rotary Club has raised more then £1,000 for charity from a host of events across the Christmas period.
Santa will again be in the Market Place on Saturday, December 22 (11am-2pm), and on Christmas Eve they will be at the Mere’s Mouth (11am-2pm).
