Cheers! The Corn Hall’s annual Beer and Gin Festival is just around the corner.

Visitors this Friday and Saturday can choose from a variety of cask beers, easy-drinking pale ales, and bitters, as well as a selection of gins and garnishes, such as orange and coriander.

On Friday Dave Thomas Blues Band will be rocking their stuff, alongside The Butcher’s Dog and a Ukes Anonymous sing-a-long.

Saturday will see Red Mecca take centre stage, with The Delta Beltas, SARK, and at lunchtime The Speckled Band jazz duo.

There is no entry fee, and plenty of games and quizzes to keep drinkers busy.

A beer token system available for purchase on the door will operate for the beers, while the gin bar is cash only.

At 6pm on Friday, Waveney gin producer Peachey’s will hold a free tasting session.
