A Diss shop manager is selling off hundreds of hand made poppies displayed in remembrance of the First World War.
Rhona Knapp, manager of Beactive Mobility on Mere Street created more than 400 poppies out of plastic bottle bottoms spray-painted red to honour 100 years since Armistice Day.
Ms Knapp had intended to keep the poppies for next year, but has now decided to fundraise directly for the Poppy Appeal.
She will be dismantling the display at the end of this week and will be accepting a minimum £1 donation per poppy.
Ms Knapp has also thanked the people of Diss for their ‘kind words’. She said she has been ‘absolutely amazed’ by the public’s response to the display.
