Pop up shop PJ Music will hopefully continue to sell instruments and books at its Mere Street premises until March, says its owner Peter Cunningham.

The shop, which was initially meant to run from November 22 - December 30 will be staying on around three extra months due to “popular demand.”

Mr Cunningham, who previously ran the business from his Botesdale home, said customers have been coming in from as far afield as Essex and London.

He said: “Loads of people say, at least we don’t have to go to Bury or Ipswich or Norwich, which is good for Diss!”

Mr Cunningham will be leaving the pop up shop in March in order to travel around the country to do business at festivals throughout the warmer months, but said come the winter he will consider setting up shop again.

Customers can expect to find a music book sale, various instruments, and children’s items in the shop.
