New six-week course could help unlock ancestry mysteries

A new six-week course in family history research is starting next month.

Unlocking Your Ancestry will begin on Tuesday, March 19, and will be run by the Diss Branch Family History Society.

Gill Blanchard, author of Tracing Your East Anglian Ancestry, Tracing Your House History, and Writing Your Family History will be hosting the sessions.

Ms Blanchard is a genealogist, house historian and local historian and qualified tutor.

The course will run every Tuesday until April 30, with the exception of April 9, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm at the village hall in North Lopham.
