Are you interested in a ‘lovable, bouncy boy’ who enjoys a gentle fuss?
If so, Hugh the five-year-old crossbreed might be the dog for you.
Dogs Trust Snetterton is hoping that Hugh will find his forever home this autumn. The Trust said that Hugh is a clever dog that loves training, so would like a home that can continue with his training programme.
Dogs Trust Snetterton’s rehoming centre manager Diane McLelland-Taylor said: “Hugh is a handsome boy who lacks confidence, but he has bags of potential and will make a loyal companion once settled.
“He just needs owners to help him come out of his shell and discover the world isn’t such a scary place. We really hope Hugh will get the ultimate treat this Halloween in the form of his special someone.”
Hugh will need experienced owners who will be able to dedicate time to continuing his training, he loves his walks and is good at travelling in the car. He’ll need a patient, calm home where he is the only dog and can be the centre of attention.
This lover of tennis balls and rope toys, adores a tasty treat and positive reward-based training will help him learn and gain your trust at the same time. New owners will need to be willing to visit him a few times before taking him home so that he has time to start building a bond with you.
