Some may have fond memories, others may have bad ones, but most remember running cross country for their school at some point in their lives.

In March 1979 Diss Grammar School pupils braved miles of land and water.

Shortly after these photos were taken, in the early 1980s, the school was shut down, and pupils and teachers transferred to the now-renamed Diss High School or to the Sixth Form College on Walcot Road.
