New health bar offers locally sourced ingredients and biodegradable materials

A new health bar that uses local ingredients and biodegradable materials has opened in Diss this week.
FresHub on Market Hill is the trendiest new place to grab lunch, with a variety of options including wraps, salads, and baked sweet potatoes.
The bar, which opened on October 15, is run by brothers Ryan and Luke Halil, and Maxwell Kirby and James Rockingham.
It’s a very Diss affair - the Halil brothers also run the Gentleman’s Barbers on St Nicholas Street and Mr Rockingham is former manager of the Costa on Mere Street.
Mr Luke Halil, 22, said: “This is our first venture together, although I used to work with my brother before at the barbers. Ryan was the one who came up with the idea about eight months ago, so it took us a while to get going but we’re doing well.”
Mr Rockingham, 25, said: “I knew the guys already, just through being in the same town. We had got the experience and we decided it would be a good venture to go into.
“It’s very limited to what health food options you can get in Diss, there are some nice restaurants like Amandines but just overall we’re trying to be as healthy as we can, although there are some cake options!”
FresHub used ingredients from nearby suppliers including Steele Fine Foods in Diss and Cannells Butchers in Diss.
It is open from Monday to Saturday.
