Nestled amongst the more traditional stalls, selling produce on Diss Market is a young business proving how having a market stall can be a great opportunity for those just starting out.

Selling bespoke homemade donuts in a range of flavours from the classic strawberry jam to the more unusual Lucky Charms or Guinness Cream.

Doodle Donuts has had a presence on Diss Market since November 2017.

Gemma Oakes owner of Doodle Donuts, explained that although only being on the market a matter on months she had already seen the benefit having a stall on the market had made to the business.

“Trade is growing steadily. People are really friendly and chatty and the social aspect is great.”

Miss Oakes added how having the stall offered a viable alternative to having a shop premises.

“The stall has definitely helped with business costs and for starter business it’s a great opportunity.”
