A new group is offering support to children with parents or carers living with cancer.

Don’t Forget The Kids is an informal group of volunteers, offering weekly support to children up to 17-years-old.

A range of toys, arts, crafts and games will be offered to help children to express themselves and share their experience with others.

Anyone attending will be offered a selection of healthy snacks throughout the sessions.

Don’t Forget The Kids will take place on Monday’s from 5pm to 7pm at Hope Church on Vince’s Road.

The group was founded eight years ago in London when a single mum was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and there was no support in place for her children to build lasting memories.
