Central England Co-operative Travel is again collecting donations of gifts and animal related products for the animal charity PACT.

The Diss store will be collecting donations from now until December 21, which the charity will sell in its store and raise funds to buy more food for the animals at its sanctuary.

Both customers and colleagues are donating to the charity and the travel brand is requesting any gifts that can be resold, as well as products that can either be sold or used by the sanctuary.

The sanctuary rehabilitates and releases wild animals in distress, as well as re-homing domestic animals that have been rescued from ill treatment, or otherwise require a new home.

Vicky Harris, branch manager in Diss, said: “This charity is one close to all of us, as we, and many of our customers are animal lovers. To do more to be able to care for those animals that have been distressed and in need is something we are all passionate about.”

If you would like to help by donating any of the items needed, please go into the Central England Co-operative Travel Branch at Market Place, Diss, and speak to the team. The closing date for donations is 5pm on December 21.
