South Norfolk Council's Pub of the Year competition is in full swing and the votes are pouring in from people supporting their favourite pubs.
This year people can vote in categories including Outstanding Community Focus, for pubs that go over and above what is expected within their community, hosting regular events, fundraising for local causes or always makes sure there is room for community groups.
Most Family Friendly will be awarded to pubs that welcome all, with room for the buggy, water for your dogs and quieter areas for you all to chat.
Meanwhile there are also categories for Best Customer Service, for pubs that go the extra mile; and Tastiest Food and Drink. The options may be endless, or they may be just what you want, this is the pub that serves the best food and drink.
South Norfolk Council's Deputy Leader, Kay Mason Billig said: "It's fantastic to see just how much our local pubs are valued by their customers. These small businesses are an important part of our rural economy and are at the heart of our communities.
"If you're passionate about your local and want to show them that you appreciate them, then vote for them."
The pub with the most votes in each category will be a finalist. Judges will visit each finalist to choose an overall winner.
More information on these categories and how to vote can be found at www.south-norfolk.gov.uk/pubs. Voting closes on 8 September.
The results will be revealed at a ceremony held at last year's winning pub, the Wheatacre White Lion on October 7. The overall winner will receive £500 to spend on an event for their community.
