Walkers on the Boudicca Way may have spotted a familiar face when TV and radio presenter Clare Balding joined locals to record a forthcoming edition of her radio show.

The sports presenter, who hosts the acclaimed Radio 4 show Ramblings, joined a group of Australian women who call themselves The Norfolk Broads for a walk along part of the Diss to Norwich long-distance walk.

The radio show, now in its 20th year, sees her join intesting people and discuss fascinating subjects on a walkabout through different part of the country.

On her latest Norfolk ramble she was joined by a Colman, of mustard fame, and an 'honorary Aussie', actually a Texan who was once married to John Wayne's son.

The description of the episode, which will be broadcast on May 16 at 3pm, states: “As they walk a stretch of Norfolk's Boudicca Way, Clare discovers what brought them here and how they've adapted to the climate, the landscape and the locals.”
